This Privacy Policy describes how LanSeoul Labs Private Limited (“LanSeoul“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit our website at https://lanseoullabs.lk/ (the “Site“), Giver’s Web/Mobile Application (the “App“) or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services“). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services, platforms, even if they are accessible through the Site. By using the Services, you agree with LanSeoul’s collection, use, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the “Last updated” date and take any other steps required by applicable law.
What Personal Information We Collect
The types of personal information we obtain about you depends on how you interact with our Site, the App and use our Services.
Information We Collect Directly from You
Information that you directly submit to us through our Services may include:
- Basic Contact Details. To register for a Giver’s App account, you may provide us with your phone number and email address. You may also register for a Giver’s App account using certain social logins, such as Google. If you register using a social login, we may receive information about you from your social login provider, including your email address and contacts.
- User Profile and User-Generated Content. After you register for your Giver’s App account, a profile page will be created for you (“Profile”). Your Profile will be populated by information you submit, such as your name, username, bio, and profile picture (“User-Generated Content”). Your age, phone number, and email address are not included in your public Profile and are not considered User-Generated Content under this Privacy Policy.
Your Profile will also include information about your Korean Language learning progress, such as your EPS-TOPIK mock test score, your EPS-TOPIK or TOPIK learning statistics, and your achievements.
By default, your Giver’s App profile is public and visible to other users as well as the general public on the internet. Additionally, any User-Generated Content on the platform may also be publicly viewable. This means that third-party websites or web scrapers may be able to access and use your public profile information for their own purposes. However, you have the ability to set your profile to private mode through your account settings.
- Communication Information. We may collect personal information, such as your name and an email address, when you request information about us or our Services, or otherwise communicate with us.
Information We Collect Automatically
We may collect personal information automatically when you use the Site.
- Cookies and Other Technologies. We do not use cookies (“Cookies“) to collect certain information about your interaction with the Site. However, third parties that provide other functionality on the Site may use cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies (“Technologies”) to automatically collect information when you use the Site.

Children’s Data
The Site is not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
