GIVER’S is a digital platform designed to support Sri Lankan youth in their journey toward global opportunities through Korean language education, career planning, and university admission.

We establish multi-stakeholder collaborations to promote a new D-2 regional visa model while concurrently engaging EPS-TOPIK applicants through the E-9 employment route.

The newly implemented D-2 visa under the Regional Pilot Program is similar to the existing D-2 visa, allowing international students to study at Korean universities and subsequently seek employment. However, it offers special benefits like Visa recommendation letter issued by the local government, Reduced burden for bank balance proof, and Opportunity to be employed in a related field upon graduation.

The E-9 visa allows foreign workers from selected countries, including Sri Lanka, to legally work in South Korea in industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and fisheries. Issued under the Employment Permit System (EPS), the E-9 visa is designed to fill labor shortages in Korea while offering overseas job opportunities to qualified candidates. To be eligible, applicants must pass the EPS-TOPIK (Korean language proficiency test) and meet other health and age requirements.
